Nehru Planetarium, Nehru Memorial Museum & Library, Astrophile Education Services come together to organise Cosmic Exploration - Astronomy Summer Camp 2023 at Nehru Planetarium from May 30 till June 03, 2023. The classes will be held at Nehru Planetarium from 10:00 AM till 12:00 noon. On June 03, 2023 We will also organise an evening stargazing program at the Nehru Planetarium front lawns for participants, their family and general public.
Topics covered during the summer camp are
Learning about telescopes;
Making of your own refractor telescope;
Learning about Night sky observation planning and learning;
Learning about Astrophotography;
Evening observation - First Light of their telescope and also taking mobile images of the Moon.
